In the past couple of years I've come to better understand the issues faced by children in foster care. I've seen the benefits of being a mentor to a foster child and more recently I've experienced the challenges involved in providing a happy and supportive home life for a child in out of home care.
The Pyjama Foundation is working to assist foster children by providing mentoring and other learning supports. It would be great to support the Pyjama Foundation to expand its programs to be able to positively impact the lives of more children in foster care.
