While we are working from home this is a good opportunity to spend our time helping others if we can.

Join me in wearing your PJs for the day or if you aren't a pjs person wear funny socks for the day and donate to this good cause.

With the money raised from Pyjama Day, you’ll be helping to offer learning skills to more than 1000 foster children, fund educational resources and help provide stable, positive relationships. For example $50 will help purchase new books, learning activities and games for Pyjama Angel resource centres.

Currently, in Australia, there are more than 48,000 children in the our of home care system. Of this number, more than 75 per cent won’t finish high school and 92 per cent sit below the average reading level.
The Pyjama Foundation’s Love of Learning Program is working to change these statistics, supporting children with their own learning mentor, allowing them to reach their full potential. The critical funds raised from this event will go directly to the recruitment, screening, training and ongoing support for volunteers throughout their role as a learning mentor.
When you register to participate in National Pyjama Day 2021, you are helping one more child realise their full potential in life despite a difficult start.
Thanks to Alison for suggesting we participate.
